"HELP!! CAN'T YOU SEE HE'S GONNA KICK MY BUTT?!?"

The Bully is a non-infamous episode. In this episode, SpongeBob tries to flee from a bully.

Why You Should Kick It’s Butt[]

Throughout the awful meanspirrited episode, Mrs. Puff is very oblivious not realizing the fact that SpongeBob is being bullied and calls Flats SpongeBob's "friend" and then proceeds to call SpongeBob "the bully" when yet he did nothing wrong, like SpongeBob in a future episode, "A Pal for Gary." Most of this episode is SpongeBob running away from a bully and nobody believing him. Patrick even says that the bully apparently went to college with him, showing no empathy for his so called "friend" (why SpongeBob and Patrick are still friends at this point is a mystery). The bully finally reaches SpongeBob’s house, but apparently SpongeBob is immune to the bully’s punches because he is a sponge. The ending is the worst part though. SpongeBob is next to the bully on the ground, and Mrs. Puff thought that he beat him up. In which he really didn't. But Mrs. Puff also threatens to commit assault on Spongebob as revenge in the end which was unfortunately implied that she did this to him offscreen.

Redeeming Qualities[]

  • Its funny.
  • It spawned the "Wait I thought this was a joke" and "How many times are we gonna have to teach you this lesson, old man?!" meme.
