The Squidward in stocks with SpongeBob about to cry scene (a.k.a. Little Yellow Book's ending) is a SCUMBOB!-infamous scene from the SCUMBOB!-infamous episode Little Yellow Book. In this scene, SpongeBob is teary-faced with a Squidward locked in stocks reading SpongeBob's diary.
Why We Are Ready To Throw Tomatoes At Squidward Again[]
People call it ScumBob because it's stupid and Squidward is a jerk. This is a pretty much universally hated ending to this already mess of an episode. Not only do the Bikini Bottom citizens flak Squidward for doing the exact same thing!
They were doing, but Squidward decided to take SpongeBob’s “Secret Personal” Diary, reads it and laugh nonchalantly while SpongeBob is depressed once again and Squidward doesn’t learn a single thing at the end of this episode. To be honest, why couldn’t SpongeBob be furiously angry at Squidward like in Can You Spare a Dime instead? And start beating the hell out of him other than running away bawling his eyes out.
Other than that, this scene will just give you a very sour taste for this episode.
Squidward also had the living balls to do that after apologizing to him.. and I think he commits Invasion of Privacy twice in this episode but Bikini Bottom doesn't care unless you litter, then you get like 7 to 10 years. Oh no.
The Only Redeeming Quality[]
Squidward got his comeuppance.
