Squidiot Box is an extremely low ULTRA-infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode, Squidward takes a trip inside the imagination box and must rely on SpongeBob and Patrick's creativity in order to escape.

Why This Episode Lost Its IMAGINATION!

People call this ScumBob mostly because of the fan-service, especially when DoodleBob made a minor appearance, there's also a lot of Squidward torture. It has also received criticism for completely missing the point of its prequel episode for various reasons:

1. The Imagination Box repair scene because of how the box was supposed to be powered by SpongeBob's and Patrick's imaginations, not by a gadget.
2. The fact that we got to see what it was like inside the box when it was Squidward's imagination ruins most of what its prequel episode is supposed to be because we weren't supposed to see what it was like inside the box when it was SpongeBob's and Patrick's imaginations, we were either supposed to be like Squidward or imagine with SpongeBob and Patrick.
3. Some have also complained about the animation in the episode for being lackluster.
4. Also, Ink Lemonade out of all episodes gets referenced here. REALLY?

Redeeming Qualities that aren't idiots:

1. They brought the famous "Imagination Rainbow" Meme back (some people see this as a bad thing though).
2. There is more to explore in the box than Idiot Box's version.
3. DoodleBob, an iconic villain, makes a return.
4. As always, the animation is good.
5. This episode is likely not canonical to the rest of the series.

Reception

SpongeBob's Imagination Box SEQUEL EPISODE is Really Bad

This episode is hated by a lot of viewers, including Mr. Enter, Vailskibum, Anthony2306, TTLF and especially HenryTheBean. It's considered the worst alongside Don't Make Me Laugh and Pet the Rock. While a few people like it, it is not make up the maiority of the fanbase.

Trivia

• This is the Second sequel episode after Bubble Buddy Returns, being a sequel of the LEGENDARY-famous season 3 episode, "Idiot Box".
• The font of the title card (Stencil) is also used in the title card of the season 3 episodes "Plankton's Army" and "Doing Time."
