Squid on Strike is a non-infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, In this episode, determined to get paid more, Squidward and SpongeBob go on strike.
Why some of us will go on strike on this episode?[]
This episode is a Shaggy Dog Story with Squidward Torture sprinkled in. Squidward not only gets trampled by a crowd of hungry customers (TWICE!), but he's ultimately unsuccessful because SpongeBob is stubbornly unhelpful and takes instructions far too literally.
Redeeming Qualities[]
- It's got some good jokes
- If you ever learned about labor in the 1800s, this episode does teach you about the effects of those times, understandably even you would want to go on strike if your boss started charging you for acts of lollygagging or, god forbid, existing.
- Gags are funny!
- Squidward's nightmare about being on strike with SpongeBob "FOREVERRR!"
- "ATTENTION SPONGEBOB: YOU ARE A TERRIBLE STRIKER!" was funny.

- Clancy Brown, the voice actor of Mr Krabs, had stated in an interview that he does not like this episode.
