Why This Snail Lost It's Nine Lives[]
Some people call it ScumBob because it has 3 really infamous episodes: SpongeBob You're Fired, Squid Baby and Little Yellow Book. Most of the episodes are also really forgettable and boring. This is the last season of “The Dark Era” and the last season before the creator Stephen Hillenburg returned for the "Post Sequel" seasons of SpongeBob. Redeeming Qualities[]
- This and Season 8 are known as the least bad seasons of “The Dark Era.” This first half season is also the last “OFFICAL” season of the show’s “Dark Era” which ran from 2008 - 2013 (Early 2015 in airing order), as the second half of Season 9 and onwards massively improve over this first half and the other 3 seasons.
- It has some very famous episodes like Jailbreak!, Extreme Spots, Plankton's Pet, and Evil Spatula.
- Some of the "infamous" episodes like Patrick-Man!, Safe Deposit Krabs, Bumper to Bumper, Squirrel Record and Don't Look Now aren't that bad and many fans call them very good episodes.
