Why it's an unlucky number

1. People can call it ScumBob because it has some pretty infamous episodes such as "Plane to Sea", "Something Narwhal This Way Comes", "SquidBird", and several others.
2. People also call it ScumBob because Narlene and Nobby appear in the main show just to shamelessly promote the spin-off “Kamp Koral,” such as "Something Narwhal This Way Comes," "Upturn Girls," and "Sandy, Help Us!" thus making it break SpongeBob's timeline because Kamp Koral was supposed to be a parallel dimension (it could be said that SpongeBob, Narlene, and Nobby had different childhoods from Kamp Koral though. But either way, this is which is what hurt this season the most.
3. People also call it ScumBob because of the "Pre-Movie Pandering" the season has done, it is touching that the show still manages to do references from past episodes of the show, but it can can excessively pointless once in a while, especially compared to previous seasons. In other words, this season relies too much on nostalgia pandering, just like the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
4. Most noticeable of all: the season does too much nostalgia pandering, just like the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, with episodes like "Friendiversary" just being an episode about SpongeBob making Squidward recall previous episodes.

Good Qualities that aren't unlucky

• It has some extremely famous episodes like "Salty Sponge," "Welcome to Binary Bottom," "Dopey Dick", "Squidferatu", "Ain't That the Tooth", "Big Top Flop", and much more.
• People say that the animation from this season noticeably improved from Seasons 10, 11 and 12, even though that it became cursed as ever.
• Some "infamous" episodes like "A Place for Pets," "Sea-Man Sponge Haters Club," "Friendiversary," "Yellow Pavement," and "Allergy Attack!" aren't that bad and many fans call them good episodes.
• Plane to Sea and SquidBird, the most infamous episodes of the season are only ULTRA-infamous, but not HYPER or SCUMBOB.

• The episodes "A Place for Pets" and "Lockdown for Love" are the only ones to premiere in 2020.
• It is the first SpongeBob Season to be made after Stephen Hillenburg's lifetime.
