SpongeBob's Place is a non-infamous episode episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode, SpongeBob cooks at home after being too popular for the Krusty Krab, which makes Mr. Krabs annoyed.
Why The Place Needs to Be Shut Down[]
- The basic premise is just another "Patty Hype" or "Banned in Bikini Bottom" mixed with "Bummer Vacation" and "The Krusty Sponge." A lot of things about it are the ones that we've already seen before, like SpongeBob opening a restaurant on his doorstep (or in his house), Mr. Krabs knowing that SpongeBob is important to the Krusty Krab, and SpongeBob being unable to work at the Krusty Krab, etc. Ultimately, making it very unoriginal and having nothing new or interesting at all to the story.
- It has weird humor.
- Much like the first point, the episode has a lot of things that we've already seen before, like the fact that Mr. Krabs is poor at cooking on his own is the one they'd already done in "SpongeBob You're Fired."
- Unnecessary to close the place down for serving food in a pineapple.
To make matters worse, the episode is litterally paired with "THIS CAN YOU SPARE A DIME RIPOFF WITH GUEST'S SARCASTICALLY SPECIAL STAR... SHELDON J PLANKTON!!!!" WHEN WILL THESE CHARADES END???
Redeeming Qualities[]
- Despite having absolutely nothing at all to do with the episode, Squidward's song, "I Hate People," can be funny to you.
- The ending is good.
- The dramatic guy at the beginning saying that he could “die” for the patties, and “go to heaven” was a good laugh for some people.
How to fix this episode![]
- Change the story to something else which wouldn't have been a rip-off of "Patty Hype" or "Banned in Bikini Bottom."
- Give more clever humor and instead of a bunch of the moments that we've already seen before.
- Make the better reason why the place is getting shut down something other than serving food in a food.
- Make Krabs less greedy, with not making Squidward help him shut down Spongebob's Place.
