Slide Whistle Stooges is a mid infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode, SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward play with slide whistles.
Why This Episode Is A Massive *makes a fail sound using a slide whistle*[]
- First if all, the slide whistles are super annoying, and Squidward gets tortured too much, even when he overreacted with the whistles along with Spongebob and Patrick.
- Speaking of Squidward, he is not likable either due to him annoying everyone with a slide whistle.
- The Bikini Bottomites expressed excitement, thinking Squidward had passed away. It seems inappropriate to cheer in such a situation.
- The ending is insulting as Spongebob and Patrick kind of make fun of the people at the hospital with the slide whistles (though to be fair, the people seemed to enjoy it) , and to make matters worse, Squidward ends up with the slide whistle stuck in his throat after the explosion, which is just stupid.
- What's even more stupid is that the doctor believes that they don't have the technology to remove the slide whistle on Squidward's throat, when it can be surgically removed easily.
- Even worse, this episode is paired up with the SCUMBOB!-infamous episode The Splinter.
Redeeming Qualities[]
- It spawned three great tracks, Slide Whistle Stooges, Slide Whistle Stooges 2 (not the one over the title card music and the thing being in a episode) and 12th Street Rag w/ Bass.
- That angry Squidward face has become an internet meme so as the book meme.
- At least Spongebob and Patrick didn't feel happy when Squidward was thought to be dead, and even played the funeral march (Taps according to Carr) while looking sad.
- Some consider it to be a funny episode.
- Squidward driving the truck around Bikini Bottom is pretty entertaining until he drives it off a cliff.
