Shuffleboarding is a high super-infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode, SpongeBob and Patrick attend a shuffleboarding contest for Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.
Why You Will Never Want To Shuffleboard In here[]
If you expect to see shuffleboarding in this episode, you should've learned this lesson: don't trust the title of these modern episodes. It may be a Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy episode that has a concept, but they instead decided to scrap it all and go with their backup plan: arrest everyone for stupid reasons while making the viewers be frustrated to watch and tolerate their actions.
The reasons for Spongebob and Patrick arrests on the townsfolk are completely ridiculous.
- Riding a store electric horse
- Throwing out a Krabby Patty due to being full
- Chewing gum too loud
- Shoes being untied
- Being too old
- A villain going to do laundry
- Being friends with a villain
Man Ray has done them no wrong whatsoever, all he did was laundry and saying hello to his old friend from High School and what happens next is a terrible fight scene. Along with it's Imitation Krabs clone featuring Sandy, it's the torment of the innocent in the ending.
The costumes SpongeBob and Patrick utilize are also stupidly obvious; their faces are fully visible, yet the townspeople are fooled by this, making them look stupid. Who keeps turning on the Orb of Confusion around here?
The ending is absolutely horrendous, Man Ray and the bikini bottomites form an angry mob, then chase Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, who are still in wheelchairs! When SpongeBob and Patrick see's the angry mob chasing them, SpongeBob idiotically says "They have so many fans!". They should have gone after SpongeBob and Patrick!
Though the episode itself is infamous, PIEGUYRULZ found the episode to be a meh episode, not a ScumBob.
How To Fix The Episode[]
- Rename the title “The Substitutes for Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy” or something else which would've been more fitting to the episode.
- Remove the scene where SpongeBob and Patrick arrest many innocent people for stupid reasons. It just makes you glad they’re not real cops.
- Show the actual Shuffle-Boarding competition and have SpongeBob and Patrick come right back to Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.
