Sea-Man Sponge Haters Club is a very high semi-infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode, Squidward hosts a secret 'We Hate SpongeBob Club' at his house.

Why this episode is a Sea-Man Episode Haters Club

1. There isn't much of a plot in this episode. It only involves a meeting about people who hate SpongeBob telling stories about him, for the entire episode, over and over again. It isn't until the last few minutes where something actually interesting happens.
2. It derails SpongeBob's character, portraying the titular character with many of the traits in his Flanderized season 6B-7 incarnation, ruining other people's lives. This only applies for the flashbacks, and this may be excused per GQ #2.
3. Even outside of these SpongeBob can be annoying in this episode because he is interrupting the meeting.
4. In addition, the concept, while unique, isn't quite executed well in this episode.
5. The disturbing face made by SpongeBob during Mrs. Puff's flashback. It kind of reminds me of something...
6. This episode contains little, if any, humor and most of it is just expressions and more expressions, and no, we're not talking about the expressions we would see in a normal modern episode, these ones are creepier and more detailed.
7. Some people complain that the ending is Squidward torture.
8. Even the title card is horrible because the text was so weird and unfitting and not your average SpongeBob font.

Good Qualities

1. Interesting character interactions among Squidward, Mrs. Puff, Plankton, Bubble Bass and Norton (the mailman). What's especially interesting is how Mrs. Puff and Squidward haven't had a major interaction since the SCUMBOB!-infamous Boating Buddies, 165 episodes ago.
2. To be fair, despite BQ #2, the stories may just be exaggerated and SpongeBob may not be as bad as the members imply so. In fact, seeing the perspectives of these characters is interesting.
3. Great animation, as always. Mrs. Puff's flashback has fluid and charming animation.

• This is the second instance in which SpongeBob says, "Awoogah."
• Awe considers this episode to be the one where SpongeBob is at his absolute worst, even worse than he was in "Breath of Fresh Squidward" and "A Pal for Gary."
