The Joke Funeral scene is an MORBID-infamous scene from the infamous episode, Don't Make Me Laugh. In this scene, SpongeBob goes to the cemetery so nothing will make him laugh, but he ends up at a clown funeral and that makes him laugh.
Why This Scene Makes Us Dead (Don't Laugh At This, SpongeBob.)[]
- For a show that has successfully done morbid jokes right before especially in Nasty Patty, this scene is extremely stupid and to some extent, offensive. This scene understands that funerals are a somber and serious event and proceeds to make fun of it by mocking it.
- This is made worse by how SpongeBob's behavior is predictable and the same joke from earlier on is being used here.
- The clowns are no better as they are deliberately making fun of funerals, which teaches people that insulting the dead is perfectly fine if it's a joke.
- SpongeBob's infamous line "Holy herring, im squatting on a corpse". This quote is very infamous because SpongeBob's action comes off as disrespectful and offensive. Him calling the “dead” clown a corpse is very jarring because of SpongeBob's reaction to it all.

How to fix this Scene[]
- It's simple, really. Remove this scene entirely.
