Jellyfishing is a semi-infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. The episode begins with Spongebob and Patrick, as the title says, goes jellyfishing.
Why it Stings You[]
It's understandable why someone wouldn't like this episode, even if it's very popular. The main joke is that Squidward goes through hell in this episode and Spongebob and Patrick don't care about it. Especially the "FIRMLY GRASP IT!" line.
We get the first instance of sandbagging in the series with SpongeBob licking his lips for 30 seconds.
Good Qualities[]
Like it says, if you like this episode, it makes sense since it has funny moments, plus it's the one that introduced Jellyfishing, and one scene which has the "FIRMLY GRASP IT!" line, which can be funny depending on your view.
There is another thing to say, it can be Squidward torture done right depending on your view, because not only SpongeBob and Patrick, unlike most other episodes from the Dark era, actually realize that some of their methods of healing Squidward are not working at all (specifically with the soup and clarinet), but it would make sense for them to be oblivious since Squidward was bandaged from head to toe so he couldn't directly speak to them. Also, at the end, SpongeBob and Patrick receive comeuppance when Squidward releases a jellyfish to attack them.
