There have been lots of rumors about SpongeBob ending, which are usually spread around social media. However, these rumors are never true. What makes this especially infamous is that it seems like there is one every year and sometimes even more than one.
Please tell me that is your nose[]
In the episode "As Seen on TV" there's a scene where SpongeBob sticks his nose from the ground, to which Mr. Krabs says "Quit fooling and come on out.". However, many people falsely stated that Mr. Krabs says "Please tell me that is your nose.", a sexual joke.
Krabby Patties are made out of crabs[]
Of all the many theories about the Krabby Patty Secret Formula, this one has to be the worst. As it literally states that krabby patties are actually made from crabs, and Mr. Krabs is a cannibal who killed his friends in business, how? For murder, it can lead to real-life punishment. This is due to people taking the clip of Mr. Krabs saying "so that's what I taste like" out of context. And the SpongeBob skit from Robot Chicken doesn't help either.
