House Fancy is a semi-infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode. Squidward prepares his house for a TV show.
Why It's Not Fancy[]
Smart People call it ScumBob because it’s boring and bland. Some idiots hate the whole episodes over a scene about Squidward's toenail getting ripped out by SpongeBob, and that it's bad just because of that one little scene. Other people found other reasons to call this episode ScumBob, such include SpongeBob being obnoxious and being somewhat creepy by spying on Squidward. SpongeBob also messed up Squidward's house while trying to make Squidward's house fancier than Squillam's house just to make Squidward happy in a very forced way. Some people also think this episode is super unfunny, boring and cringe. Despite this, Squidward still won this episode which I'm happy to say the least. But still, the two scenes are a big reason why this episode is super infamous.
How To Make This Episode Fancy[]
- Make the jokes with SpongeBob's humor instead of Family Guy's humor.
Fancy Qualities[]
- Some great moments.
- The title card is great, and its music was good.
- At least the infamous toenail scene was banned in Indonesia
- Squidward, Patrick, Squilliam and Nicholas, were likeable.
- SpongeBob, despite being a bit out-of-character, is also a likable character, unlike what he would become later in Seasons 6b & 7.
- Alton Brown did a good job at voicing Nicholas Withers.
- It spawned the Patrick abuses Squidward's toilet meme (some people call this scene worse than the toenail scene though).
- At least the toenail scene only lasted a few seconds.
- This episode has a good ending that is somewhat reminiscent of what Band Geeks did with Squidward winning and Squilliam losing (as said before, not everyone likes this ending because it feels more forced than other happy Squidward endings like Suction Cup Symphony or Band Geeks).
- Unlike Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful. there were no repeatedly jokes and most people think this episode did jokes correctly (some people dislike these jokes though).
- The CGI in the beginning was nice, unlike another episode where the CGI is fake.
- At least Squidward liked the destruction SpongeBob did because he won as Prince of House Fancy.
- The Bird appears
