Giant Squidward is an ULTRA-infamous of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode, Squidward becomes a giant after being sprayed with fertilizer.

Why This Is a Giant ScumBob[]

To get the elephant out of the room, not saying "bless you" when someone sneezes, does not give the townspeople the reason to try and hunt down Squidward who has done nothing but try to live his life. Squidward may not have heard him sneeze but that apparently is not stopping them from forming an angry mob just to hunt him down. Not only that but the jerkish part of "The Sponge Who Could Fly" and "Best Day Ever" due to them taking advantage of him and his abilities is used here.

By the way, when the two idiots who've tormented his life realize what they've done, which they at first had the nerve to say they were good, Patrick acts like he doesn't give a damn at all!

Thankfully, near the end, they do feel sorry for what they've done and make a giant gift for Squidward...unfortunately, he shrinks back to normal.

There is also some other poor story writing, like how the Kelp Grow makes everything grow, not just kelp, and how the giant clarinet was made out of kelp.

The jokes about the kids sleeping under Squidward's toes and SpongeBob and Patrick in Squidward's belly button were disgusting.

Redeeming Qualities That Aren’t Giant ScumBobs[]

  • It has jokes like SpongeBob adding himself to Squidward's scolding sentence.
  • Squidward was likable.
  • The little scene where Squidward and Gary chats.
  • It has a fitting title that basically lets you know the entire thing.
  • At least SpongeBob and Patrick wanted Squidward to be happy and he was at least for 19 seconds (yes that's it).
  • SpongeBob and Patrick help Squidward back to normal.
