Friendiversary is a super-infamous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. in this episode, SpongeBob celebrates his friendship anniversary with Squidward, but the latter doesn't want to celebrate with him.

Why We Will NEVER Celebrate This Episode

1. Alright, alright, we all get it. SpongeBob wants to celebrate his friendship with Squidward, but he went super ballistic and crazy. SpongeBob needs to accept that Squidward doesn't want to do it, and he needs to calm down. All those memories are scaring Squidward, similar to One Coarse Meal.
2. Squidward is also in the wrong here is that he decides to erase SpongeBob's memories, but he's no worse than SpongeBob here which is more unsettling the more you think about it.
3. The beginning is also bad because SpongeBob broke into Squidward's house to celebrate and he took a picture of him while he was sleeping. It is touching for SpongeBob to celebrate but this is similar to Squid's Visit, because SpongeBob stalked Squidward so much, that Squidward doesn't remember things SpongeBob did. Apparently SpongeBob has to remember so many things by looking at his memories, 24/7.
4. The animation while great can also be considered cursed in some scenes like with other season 13 episodes, and it looks like something that it would belong in Ren & Stimpy cartoon.
5. The Sushi-Maker scene was copy and pasted from Life Insurance but worse. Just three seasons after the episode and it comes back?
6. Weirdly Bad Ending: Squidward was put to all this torment and apparently, SpongeBob remembers him being in lava or something like that. Then, Squidward reenact the same pain he was in from the Sushi maker. The Next Day SpongeBob says that Friendiversary is yesterday during the ending, so SpongeBob put Squidward to all this torment all for nothing. Well done, SpongeBob, well done indeed...
7. It also has a scene where frames from past episodes are blatantly reused, and worst of all, it contains episodes from the aforementioned media above.
8. There are a lot of references to this episode. It even references some extremely famous episodes, such as The Camping Episode, Dying for Pie, and even Bubblestand! However, this makes the episode come across as nostalgia pandering.

Redeeming Qualities To Celebrate Over

1. The idea of SpongeBob celebrating was sweet, and it shows that he loves Squidward.
2. The idea is very unique.
3. Mr. Krabs is surprisingly tolerable here as he realized of what Squidward has done. But for Krabs to get Squidward to have SpongeBob remember him is because of the both of them sharing the memory of the Secret Formula safe combination, which is a weak way to do it.
4. Squidward is also tolerable too, despite erasing SpongeBob's memories.
5. Seeing how SpongeBob would act if he had never seen Squidward was very enjoyable.
6. It has some really funny moments.
